BR 2-09: Hansel and Gretel

I read Hansel and Gretel. I have read it when I was young. I remember that I made the little house at nursery school. Hansel and Gretel was my favorite picture book. So I read this time.

I'll tell you about two children, Hansel and Gretel, their father and mother. Their mother is terrible, but their father is very kind. Hansel and Gretel liked their father very much. However, I thought their father treated the children ruthless. He didn't oppose his wife's idea that they take two children far into the forest and lose them. Hansel and Gretel are smart. Hansel dropped white stones on the path into the forest to get home. Also, Gretel ran behind the witch and pushed her to help Hansel. The old witch fell into the oven.

I like the snece that Hansel and Gretel find a little house made of cookies and cake, chocolate, coconut, ice-cream, fruit, sugar, and lots of other sweet things. It is a dream for children. I want to eat the house! The illustration is beautiful, so I enjoyed reading this book. Please read it!!
