BR 2-10: The Magic Gifts

I read The Magic Gifts. There were three brothers, Yong,Ying and Chin. After their rich father died, the brothers shared out his fortune. But Yong and Ying are so greedy and Yong and Ying each took a big share of the fortune. Chin was left with a tiny bag of silver coins and he was chased out of the house. I thought the two brothers treated Chin cruelly. I think brothers have to help each other. In contrast, Chin was so kind. He used his money to help poor villagers. He didn’t know he was the poorest man in the village. He is quite considerate and has tender heart. I think to devote to other people is wonderful things. I respect him and I want to be a person like him. One day, Chin helped an old monk. Chin did everything he can do for the old monk. So the old monk gave three gifts for Chin. It is an old straw mat, a wooden spoon and a pair of chopsticks. They are the magic gift and they made him rich. Yong and Ying imitated Chin and became poor on purpose, but nothing happened and they couldn’t be rich again. In this way, I think only good persons are brought good things. This book was interesting, so please read it!
