The Last of the Mohicans

Today, I watched movie at the class of American history of literature. The title is The Last of the Mohicans. Have you ever watched it? I watched it for the first time. I could know about America before independent. This is war's story between England and France. An army of England was helped by the Mohicans on the way. The war got worse but the two counties made peace. However, Magua, he has against the army of England, tried to kill the commander and his two daughters. He is the Hurons. After all, the commander and his daughter, Alice died. Also, the son of Chingachgook who is the last Mohicans were killed. So, Nathaniel who is Chingachgook's adopted child took over the spirit of the Mohicans.

I understood that it was important for American to take over the spirit than blood. It may be difficult for Japanese to understand American's way of thinking. People's feature in the movie is particular about color of skin. This movie is so shocking but I could learn a lot of things.

Today's lunch☆

Today, I had two classes:first period and third period. After first period, I did typing homework about golden week plans at e-campus center. Then I went to Ouchi Cafe for lunch with Chikako, Asaki and Mizuho. I have never been to there. I don't know that there is Ouchi Cafe near by KGU. I like the ambience very much because there are a lot of cute goods. Today's lunch menu is an omelet containing fried rice, Taco-Rice and curry and rice. I chose Taco-Rice because I hardly eat it. There were many kind of vegetables, for example, lettuce, potato, tomato, pumpkin and eggplant. I like vegetables, so it was so delicious! I was satisfied and it cost only 630yen! When I come there next time, I want to eat French toast and pudding. We talked a lot of things, so I enjoyed lunch time. I wanted to talk more!


After that, I took a class of Korean language. I could write my name in the Hangul alphabet, but it is difficult to learn Korean language. So, I'm going to study hard. The teacher is so interesting and I like this class very much. The teacher said people in Korea eat a dog, so I was surprised. I thought different of culture is interesting.

I am planning my golden week. I don't decide what I do, but I have things I want to do. First of all, I want to meet my friends who live in outside the prefecture. I have not met her for four months. April's News

April's is almost over, so I want to look back on April. There were two main incidents in April. One is what I attended marriage ceremony of my cousin. She is 26 years old and lives in Fukuoka. She was very cute wearing wedding dress and her husband is so cool! There were many kind of dish and it was very delicious. I felt very happy. The marriage ceremony was so moving. Also, I met my cousins after a long time, so I was very glad. I have one of them who I respect. She is ten years older than I. She is very kind to everyone and smart. She does whatever she can for us. So I respect her and I want to be a woman like her.

The other is what I went to shopping with my friends. I went to Fukuoka Tenjin by bus. One of my friends lives by oneself in Hakata and everyone is my junior high school' s classmate. We belonged to the same club, so we are very close. PARCO opened in Tenjin recently, so I wanted to go there. I enjoyed shopping and I bought pumps. It was two thousand yen, so I was satisfied. After that, I went to cake smorgasbord. There were many kinds of cakes and I had a lot of cakes. By the way, my favorite cake is cheesecake! There were not only cakes but also pasta. I had a good time.

This is Tom and his wife Elena's story. They lived in a small cottage and they were very poor. They had a goat, a garden, hens and geese. One morning, Tom found a solid golden egg and Tom had never seen so much money. Every day they grow up richer and they built a bigger and better house and they had a big garden. They desired to get golden egg more. Finally, they killed the goose.

I thought the goose was very pitiful because it made Tom and Elena happy. I also thought the goose taught us that we must not be greedy. It is important to be careful small things. The illustration has warmth, so I like it very much.

This story is about flying elephants. I chose this book because it's illustration was very cute and colorful. Do you believe that elephants used to be fly? I don't believe that such a big and heavy elephants could fly. Elephants flew everywhere. Sometimes, the gods flew on their backs. I want to fly on their backs because I can pleased. The elephants troubled nature, for example, all the trees were broken and there were no houses left. Also, they have eaten all the fruits. Finally, the gods didn't pardon it and the elephants couldn't fly. The free elephants are very cute and I like this story.

This is a cat's story and the cat's name is Puss. When I saw this book for the first time, I thought it a dog. Puss is no ordinary cat-he wears boots, a floppy hat and a purple cloak. The appearance is very cute1! Puss is not only cute but also clever and he can talk. So, he helped poor family. There was a poor miller, who had three sons. Puss caught rabbits and brought the king as a gift. Next, Puss told Tom, the youngest, to pretend to drown in the river and the king helped him and presented some clothes. Also, Puss changed the ogre which has a magnificent castle into the tiny mouse and Puss became the owner of the castle. Finally, Tom married Princes and three sons became happy. This story is very interesting and I want to clever cat like Puss!

My favorite fruit

My favorite fruit is mango but I can hardly eat it because it is very expensive. Mango is soft and very sweet. It's color is vivid orange and I like it's color. Miyazaki is famous for mango these days. I want to eat expensive mango someday! I often eat mango dessert ,for example, parfait, yogurt and pudding. I like these dessert very much. There is my favorite restaurant and it's mango parfait is very delicious. I go there every summer and I want to go there this summer.

My hobbies

My hobby is ballet and I like to dance very much because I can feel refreshed. I started to learn ballet when I was high school student. Now, I'm stopping learning ballet but I'll resume it. I like classical music, so it is a lot of fun to dance to classical music.

I also like listening to music and playing the piano. I often listen to Japanese pop music when I am free. Music I play is most of classical music but I play Japanese pop music recently.

Today, I spent my time watching TV or DVD. I wanted to pass slowly because I was tired from part time job yesterday. I teach English and math to an elementary schoolchild and junior high school student at a cram school as a part time job. There was study and training yesterday early afternoon. I read "Wizard Wagoo" and this is the story that the children run the risk to find Obby. They met the wizard wearing a purple robe and tall, pointed hat and with a long while beard on the way. The wizard was kind enough to help them. I think there are two type's magician. One is fearful and the other is kind. I like a magician's story because I can dream. The wizard gave them tandem bicycle and they could fly by riding it. I like to watch the sky, so I'm envious of them. After all, they couldn't find Obby because they were run after by a monster. The story is fantastic, so this book is fun!

Thursday is the busiest day in a week because there are five classes. However, I felt a sense of fulfillment. I especially enjoyed the lecture on English conversation. I was nervous because today is first class but the teacher is very kind. There are some older member in the class and they speak English very well. I'm not good at speaking English, so I think I want to study hard from now on. I was glad because I could get along with member of the class.

I like Japanese pop music and I often listen to music. My favorite singer is aiko because I can sympathize with the words of her songs. She has a powerful voice. Happy Birthday☆

Today is my younger sister's birthday. My sister is seventeen years old. Also, three days ago, 8th is my mother's birthday. So, I went to shopping to buy present for them. I bought a dress of a floral design for my sister and a blouse for my mother. It took an hour to choose them, but they were overjoined to get presents, so I was very happy.

This evening, I went to Italian restaurant with my family. The restaurant is my family's favorite restaurant. We ate three kinds of pasta and pizza and salad. It was very delicious and felt happy.
